Location: Full-time, on-site position. Located on Cleopatra Drive until September 2025. Will relocate to Carp Road by Labour Day 2025.
Salary range: $55-$60k
Availability: 7am-3:30pm or 8am – 4:30pm; Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
The HR Administrator supports the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks related to employee records (approx. 90 employees), recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance. This role ensures smooth HR operations and provides timely support to employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel data, employment contracts, and other HR documents.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assisting with recruitment processes, scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding activities for new hires, completing onboarding training and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Payroll and Benefits: Supporting payroll processing with time tracking software, and assisting with benefits administration.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and other legal requirements.
- Employee Relations: Addressing employee inquiries, resolving HR-related issues, employee vacations and time off and providing support to employees.
- Reporting and Analytics: Preparing reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
- HR Software: Managing and maintaining the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency.
- Security: Processing, submitting and tracking all employee security clearances and submitting lists for projects
Required Skills:
- Experience: 3 – 5 years of hands on experience
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, HR staff, and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in data entry, record keeping, and compliance.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve HR-related issues.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using HR software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and Regulations: Understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
