Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an HR Administrator, Inquiry Services on a permanent basis within our People & Culture team.

We are looking for a resourceful professional who enjoys interacting with others. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from internal stakeholders. They will respond to a variety of requests by providing information, resolution, or directing to the appropriate HR team. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage day-to-day inquiry tickets, entering all resolution steps into FCL’s case management tool (ServiceNow).
  • Use data-driven insights and program documentation to answer customer inquiries, make decisions, and recommend improvements.
  • Provide support to clients in finding information or using the HR system. This may include entering or modifying information, providing reports, and following up with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Compile, track, and monitor metrics used to develop recommendations for HR programs. This will include identifying trends and reporting on variances.
  • Update articles and information in the knowledge management system.

Who you’ll work with:

You will report to the Manager, Inquiry Services & Workforce Administration on a team that fosters a culture of trust and curiosity. You will be one of two individuals in this role but will work closely with the larger team. You will also have the opportunity to interact with a variety of professionals across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).

Who you are:

  • Have 1-3 years of experience within human resources, data management, or a related field.
  • Have a 1-year certificate, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or Business Technology Management (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Experience with HRIS technology, ticketing systems, or case management is considered an asset.
  • Believe in collaboration, building relationships, and value the perspectives of others.
