Job summary

The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily operations, train staff, and uphold the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and service. You will coordinate with engineering and front desk, conduct room inspections, and ensure timely maintenance and guest satisfaction.

Two years of supervisory experience in a similar property and a commitment to quality are essential for this role at this iconic Vancouver hotel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a Housekeeping/Guest Service lead or Supervisory role in a similar property environment.
• Ensure all employees are WHMIS trained within 30 days of hire and documented annual refresh training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to staff for all housekeeping duties and roles.
• Monitor staff in training and retraining programs to ensure hotel standards are followed.
• Assist in preparation of Employee Performance Appraisals.
• Assist in Employee Performance Management including coaching and training documentation.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms per preset goals.
• Update room status for guest check-in and ensure compliance with inspection checklists.
• Coordinate with engineering and front desk to address maintenance needs.
• Oversee room grading/maintenance programs to hotel standards.
• Support lost and found inquiries and timely mailing of items.
