Job summary

Sutton Place in Canada is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping/guest services team in a busy property. You will ensure exceptional cleanliness, supervise daily operations, and uphold PureClean standards.

The role requires at least two years in a supervisory position, strong guest service and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with PMS systems like OPERA. You will collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance while coaching staff and ensuring safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a Housekeeping/Guest Service lead or Supervisory role in a similar property.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping room attendant, house person and laundry roles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive daily environment with empowerment.
• WHMIS Certification and First Aid are an asset.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and OPERA or similar Property Management System.
• Must be legally able to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, suites, public areas, back-of-house areas.
• Ensure all areas of the PureClean program are executed.
• Responsibilities include assisting in cleaning of guest rooms and public areas as required.
• Daily room inspections and ongoing support of team members.
• Maintain supply and equipment inventories and ensuring the team has the right tools to do the job
• Reports to the Housekeeping Manager, and collaborates daily with Front Office and Maintenance.
• Ensure Health, Wellness & Safety standards are met and proper use of chemicals.
• Provide daily ongoing support and training as required.
• Support fair and effective scheduling and ongoing coaching of team members
