Job summary

Sun Peaks Grand Hotel in British Columbia is seeking an experienced senior housekeeping leader to drive guest experiences and oversee housekeeping operations.

You will supervise, mentor and train the team, manage schedules and budgets, and partner with maintenance to keep the property at its best. This full-time role offers a competitive salary 60k–84k CAD with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ minimum experience in a senior housekeeping role within a Hotel/Resort setting
• Post-secondary education in Hospitality/Tourism, or a related discipline preferred
• Energetic and outgoing with a positive attitude, driven to deliver elevated guest experiences
• Professional and well‑organized with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to think on your feet.
• Highly responsible self‑starter and reliable team player, with the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must have the ability to supervise, mentor, train and motivate the team.
• A working knowledge of hotel systems, specifically Agilysis VERSA would be considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of basic and complex cleaning machinery and tools.
• A level of financial acumen and ability to budget, forecast, and interpret financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guest experience within housekeeping and uphold service standards.
• Manage scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding for the department.
• Monitor costs and interpret financial statements; advise on budget and forecast.
• Develop and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
• Lead training and onboarding for new hires; mentor team members.
• Collaborate with Maintenance on upkeep of the property.
• Ensure safety culture and WorkSafe BC compliance.
