Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls is seeking a Night Cleaner to maintain cleanliness of lodge public areas after hours and deliver exceptional guest service. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, sanitize restrooms and common areas, and ensure all equipment is kept in good condition.

The role requires active guest interaction and adherence to safety guidelines to provide a welcoming environment. The position supports 11:30pm–8:00am shifts, reflecting overnight operations at our Niagara Falls

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in housekeeping practices, including sanitation and guest service.
  • Familiar with all housekeeping equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, lunch rooms and Admin offices.
  • Vacuum, scrub, dust, and carpet-clean floors, stairs, elevators, and public areas.
  • Disinfect all touchpoints to ensure guest safety.
  • Maintain tools (vacuums, brooms, carts, etc.) in excellent condition.

The Night Cleaner maintains cleanliness and organization of lodge public areas closed during regular hours, while delivering exceptional customer service to guests.

Team
  • Willingness to accept the most effective role.
  • Perform daily tasks following Kaizen procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, lunch rooms and Admin offices.
  • Vacuum, scrub, dust, and carpet-clean floors, stairs, elevators, and public areas.
  • Remove fingerprints and smudges from windows and doorways.
  • Empty waste and recycling bins.
  • Dust and polish woodwork, furniture, artwork, and railings.
  • Close with an open mentality.
  • Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.
Guest
  • Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
  • Deliver guest requests promptly to rooms.
  • Disinfect all touchpoints to ensure guest safety.
  • Consistently provide exceptional service.
  • Adhere to HotSOS guidelines.
  • Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain all tools (vacuums, brooms, carts, etc.) in excellent condition.
  • Knowledgeable in housekeeping practices, including sanitation, laundry operations, and guest service.
  • Familiar with all housekeeping equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Capable of walking, standing, crawling, bending, stretching, twisting, and climbing for the duration of your shift.
  • Capable of kneeling, crouching, lifting up to and including above your head, and repetitive movements.
  • Dexterity of the hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows.
  • Lifting up to 30lbs
  • Occasionally lifting above the head.
  • Ability to hear for communication with guests, has spatial perception.
  • Visual acuity to see near and far.
  • Capable of working in a hot and humid environment
  • Climbing up to 4 flights of stairs.
  • Working with cleaning supplies containing chemicals.
  • Working at a fast pace.
Additional Requirements

Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member’s confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions.
