Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a part-time Housekeeping staff member for Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. The role supports hospital operations through cleaning and maintaining patient care areas, corridors, and common spaces.

The position requires ability to follow directions in English, comply with departmental procedures, and meet physical demands of a healthcare setting. Start date is anticipated as soon as possible.

Experience

• Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred; experience with housekeeping equipment and products preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• High school education preferred (Grade 10 equivalent required).

Physical Requirements

• Physical ability to tolerate constant standing, walking, bending and lifting, as well as physical ability to perform heavy manual work.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
