Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's Churchill Health Centre seeks a Housekeeping Aide to support housekeeping and laundry services under the direction of the Manager of Support Services. The position is casual with shifts days, evenings, and weekends, in person, based in Churchill.

Applicants should have Grade 12 or equivalent, hospital housekeeping experience, and knowledge of WHMIS. A satisfactory criminal records check and clearances are required as conditions of employment.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Manager of Support Services, the Housekeeping Aide is responsible for the housekeeping and laundry services of the Churchill Regional Health Authority.

Experience

• Previous housekeeping experience working in a hospital setting.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
