Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Building Custodian to keep guest areas and building exteriors in top condition. This front-line role requires flexibility, including weekend and holiday shifts, and a commitment to service excellence.

You will troubleshoot minor repairs, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with a multi-functional team to ensure safe, well-maintained spaces throughout the property.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is an asset.
• Must communicate well in English – verbal and written.
• Must have physical stamina and good time management.
• Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Security clearance required upon offer of employment.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & perform minor repairs at the property.
• Troubleshoot minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Empty waste containers as needed
• Move heavy furniture & equipment
• Paint, repair drywall
• Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs
• Work with minimal supervision
