Job summary

Coast Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to support our hotel operations and uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms and public areas. The role emphasises safety, superb guest service, and collaboration within the housekeeping team.

Responsibilities include room cleaning per procedures, linen changes, swift reporting of deficiencies, and maintaining stocked, organized carts. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is required to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience in a similar position.
• High school education preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Demonstrated customer service and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review room assignment sheet with Housekeeping Supervisor at the start of each shift.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and Coast Hotels procedures for cleaning and making up rooms.
• Change linens in assigned guest rooms per policy.
• Ensure amenities are in place and doors/windows are locked before room completion.
• Conduct daily inspections and report deficiencies; coordinate with maintenance.
• Record lost and found items with Housekeeping Office.
• Keep housekeeping cart stocked and equipment in good order.
• Sort recyclables per Coast Hotels guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
