Join to apply for the Hospitality Territory Sales Manager role at Ecolab Life Sciences.

Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Hospitality Territory Service and Sales Manager covering Ottawa and the surrounding areas. This outside sales position within our industry-leading Institutional division offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet customer needs across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes that enhance guest experiences and promote cleaner, safer, healthier environments.

What You Will Do
  • Install, repair, and maintain ware washing, laundry, and dispensing equipment; use this service to strengthen customer relationships
  • Ensure customer facilities are operational and teams are trained on equipment use
  • Grow sales within your existing territory by providing training, service, and sales demonstrations
  • Prospect and cold-call to secure new accounts and build Ecolab’s brand
  • Learn customer systems and develop tailored solutions for cleaning and sanitation
  • Adjust your schedule to meet customer needs
Position Details
  • Coverage area: Ottawa and surrounding regions
  • Weekend emergency coverage: 1 in 10 weekends
  • Overnight trips: None
Compensation Package
  • Base salary plus incentives and bonuses

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary preferred
  • 1+ year outside sales experience
  • Willing to be on call during off hours and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to travel to the US for training/meetings
  • No immigration sponsorship available
Physical Demands
  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Manipulating heavy items and equipment at least 50% of the time
  • Bending, stretching, climbing, working on ladders at least 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • Experience in food service, laundry, hospitality, or pool and spa industries
  • Mechanical problem-solving skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical)
