Cascadia Metals seeks an experienced and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position representing our Atlantic territory and will therefore work from their home office, along with travelling to existing and potential client base.The successful candidate will increase profitability by promoting products, creating value, and providing product support within this assigned territory
Responsibilities:
·Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market presence across Atlantic Canada
·Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across various sectors
·Promote company products and services, highlighting features, advantages, and value to clients
·Deliver effective sales presentations and prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts
·Participate in setting territory goals and regularly update sales forecasts and territory plans
·Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively, acting as the main point of contact
·Stay current with product knowledge, market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
·Collaborate closely with internal departments (operations, credit, logistics, etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction
·Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports on sales activities
Desired Skills and Experience:
·5 years of outside sales and business development experience, preferably in the steel or metals industry
·Strong knowledge of prepainted steel product applications is required
·Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
·Proficiency in the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, negotiation, and closing
·Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
·Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage a remote sales territory
·Strong computer skills including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
·Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for regular travel within the region
·Willingness to travel occasionally to Cascadia’s Ontario locations for meetings or training
