The Role

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Hospitality Manager is responsible for overseeing the frontline operations of the Upscale Brewpub according to the standards and values set by Tangled Roots Brewing Co, LLC.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit, Hire, Schedule, Train, and Manage the Server and Host Team Members.
  • Lead and Mentor team members to understand and adhere to TRBC Culture and Values.
  • Empower the team through growth opportunities within the Company.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Lead and direct all team members with an emphasis on ongoing training and development.
  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics aligned with TRBC Values, inspiring team members to meet and exceed standards.
  • Oversee and maintain cleanliness of the Upscale Brewpub.
  • Oversee private parties in the absence of the Event Manager.
  • Ensure each guest receives a genuine hospitality experience and resolve any guest conflicts promptly.
  • Follow TRBC Hospitality Manager Area of Responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma and at least 1+ year(s) of experience in restaurant management.
  • Preferred 2 or more years of Hospitality Management Experience.
  • A strong customer service focus along with effective communication and time-management skills are necessary.
  • A track record of process improvement, staff development, and efficient use of restaurant systems is highly relevant.
  • ServSafe Manager Food Handler, Allergen, and Bassett certifications required within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements for Success
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10–30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand throughout the scheduled shift.
  • Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently; move in a constantly changing environment.
