Qualifikationen

• Valid Security License for Ontario
• First Aid & CPR Level C from WSIB provider
• Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Covid vaccine x2, TB test)
• English (oral and written) fluency mandatory
• One year security or law enforcement experience is an asset
• Able to wear N95 mask fit testing (clean-shaven)
• Legal to work in Canada
• Degree in Police Foundations, Protection Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services is an asset
• Must have Use of Force (UOF) and MOAB certifications or complete Paladin training before onboarding

Aufgaben

• Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits.
• Operate security cameras and alarm systems and report suspicious activity.
• Monitor and control entry points to restricted areas.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and assist staff during crises and evacuations.
• Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff and ensure adherence to policies.
• De-escalate conflicts and document incidents accurately.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and local law enforcement for safety.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient/visitor protocols.
