Job summary

Paladin Security is hiring Healthcare Security Guards for the Greater Toronto Area. The role offers full‑time or part‑time hours with shifts across this region. Responsibilities include patrolling indoor/outdoor areas, responding to emergencies, and enforcing site policies.

Qualifications

• Authorized to legally work in Canada.
• Valid Ontario Security License.
• First Aid & CPR Level C certificate.
• Able to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test with a clean shave.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (double).
• Immunization records for MMR, Varicella, TB tests (Step 1 & 2).
• Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols of interior and exterior areas, including in inclement weather
• Respond to emergency, medical, and fire incidents while remaining calm and professional
• Perform Patient Watch, investigate routine incidents, and enforce parking, smoking, and site by‑laws
• Maintain accurate reports and notes for incidents and end‑of‑shift documentation
• Apply advanced de‑escalation skills and enforce site policies, rules, and regulations
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks and support site operations
• Present a professional presence, uphold client and company expectations, and perform additional duties as assigned

Pay Rate : $18.35 - $22.61/hour

Job Description:

• A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
• Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)

Please be aware: The MOAB/UoF training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability

• The MOAB/UoF training is held in person at the designated branch.
