Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL seeks a Hospital Clinic Representative to support the clinic team with excellent customer service and efficient administrative support, ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, updating information, scheduling appointments, coordinating procedures, handling payments, and assisting with billing questions; on-site, full-time, days shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of Healthcare experience OR six months of Customer Service experience.

• Obtaining and updating patient information
• Scheduling appointments and assisting with patient inquiries
• Coordinating procedures, laboratory services, and referrals with consulting physicians
• Collecting and posting patient payments
• Assisting patients with billing questions
• Reviewing encounter forms for completeness prior to patient checkout
• Managing clerical duties, including sorting mail and copying medical records
• Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
• Performing other duties as assigned

Role Overview
