Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital-based team. Full-time, day/evening shifts 7:00AM-3:30PM or 2:30PM-11:00PM, with every third weekend.

The role focuses on preventing drug-related problems, optimizing therapies, and enhancing patient safety and satisfaction. Required: Bachelor's Degree; State of Florida Pharmacist license; ASHP PGY1 residency preferred; acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Pharmacist – State of FL licensure required.
• ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the hospital and pharmacy department mission by preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications And Licensure

• Required : Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred : Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Requirements

• Required : Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred : PharmD, Acute Care Experience
