Job summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a dedicated clerical assistant to join our hospital team in a part-time capacity. You will perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, processing menus, staff scheduling and payroll information across days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with emphasis on excellent customer service and a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Requirements include secondary school completion, knowledge of Medical Terminology, and experience as a Clerk

Qualifications

• Successful completion of secondary school required
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology required
• Recent experience as a Clerk in a fast paced environment required
• Previous experience in a hospital environment an asset
• Must have working knowledge of Med Dietary software, CBord and Acute Care therapeutic diets
• Must have working knowledge of staff scheduling/payroll module and OE required
• Knowledgeable and efficient with Meditech computer system required
• Excellent keyboarding skills required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required
