The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a Kettle Scheduler for the Christmas Kettle Campaign in the Kelowna area on a short-term contract basis. The role involves oversight of kettle locations, volunteer coordination, scheduling, and recruitment, with emphasis on customer service and donation handling.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely reporting, training volunteers, and maintaining confidentiality.

Competenze

• Minimum of one year of related experience or working in customer service.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Background checks may be required by The Salvation Army.

Mansioni

• Oversee and support Christmas Kettle locations within a defined zone (shopping malls, grocery stores, retail outlets).
• Schedule, supervise, and assign Kettle Volunteers throughout the Campaign; participate in volunteer recruitment.
• Ensure timesheets and mileage reports are submitted accurately and bi-weekly; coordinate donor and site host communication.
• Provide training to volunteers and orientation on kettle handling and duties; liaise with Administrative and Internal Communications Manager.
