Job summary

The Salvation Army TSA in Canada is seeking a Christmas Kettle Assistant to help organize, direct and supervise the Christmas Kettle Campaign Worker activities. The role includes coordinating kettle staff, volunteers, scheduling, and maintaining positive site relationships.

Responsibilities include ensuring donation security, daily kettle transfers, and coverage for breaks while supporting the kettle coordinator.

Qualifications

• Completed High School or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in community-based programs.
• Experience in office administration and with standard office equipment.
• Strong skills in Word and Excel.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and driving record acceptable to The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities

• Assist with promoting, coordinating and overseeing kettle worker staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup of kettles to sites daily and ensure donation security.
• Schedule staff and volunteers; respond to emergencies and absences.
• Maintain positive relationships with kettle sites and provide coverage for breaks.
• Fulfill related duties as required.
