Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a temporary Christmas Kettle Coordinator to oversee multiple kettle sites in a designated zone. You will train and supervise volunteers, coordinate schedules, and ensure secure handling of donations during shifts across malls and stores.

This role requires high school completion, a valid Ontario G license with a personal vehicle, and experience in customer service and office administration. The position is on-site with flexible shifts and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License, personal vehicle and insurance required.
• Experience in customer service is required or asset; money handling experience is a plus.
• Experience in office administration and proficiency with WORD/EXCEL are expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Christmas Kettle locations across assigned zones.
• Recruit, train and manage kettle workers/volunteers; schedule shifts and ensure coverage.
• Ensure secure handling and transport of kettle donations and materials.
• Maintain timetables, timesheets, mileage reports and donor engagement.
• Provide timely communications to supervisor regarding issues and supply needs.
