Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is hiring a Seasonal Kettle Coordinator to oversee several Christmas Kettle locations within a defined zone. You will recruit and supervise staff and volunteers, ensure secure handling of donations, and coordinate logistics and reporting across sites.

Flexible scheduling is required for mall/retail locations; the role involves driving to kettle sites, managing timesheets, and ensuring set-up and break coverage.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience or working in customer service.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Experience in office administration.
• Experience with general office equipment; proficient with WORD and EXCEL.
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License, personal vehicle and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple Christmas Kettle locations within a designated zone.
• Recruit, orient, supervise and coordinate kettle staff/volunteers.
• Ensure secure handling and timely reporting of donations and time sheets.
• Schedule staff and volunteers; manage coverage and emergencies.
• Maintain relationships with kettle sites and monitor supplies and literature.
