Job summary

The Salvation Army in Thunder Bay seeks a temporary Christmas Kettle Coordinator to oversee kettle locations in malls and stores. You will organize, direct and supervise kettle volunteers, ensuring adequate staffing and secure donations during shifts.

You must have strong customer service experience, be able to multi-task, and hold a valid Ontario driver’s license. Flexible shifts include days, evenings, and weekends with local travel.

Qualifications

• High school completion is asset.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience with word processing and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Christmas Kettle locations in Thunder Bay.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers for kettle campaign.
• Coordinate the schedule for kettle volunteers and respond to absences.
• Ensure donations are delivered to secure locations and properly tracked.
• Provide support to volunteers and communicate issues to supervisor.
