Job summary

The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a temporary Christmas Kettle Assistant to help organize and supervise Christmas Kettle Campaign Worker activities. You will coordinate staff/volunteers, schedule shifts, and maintain positive relations with kettle sites.

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, ensuring supplies at sites, and assisting with deposit processing. The role requires strong communication, organization, and a willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Completed High School or equivalent.
• Experience with office administration is an asset.
• Strong skills using word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with promoting, coordinating and overseeing kettle campaigns and staff/volunteers.
• Coordinate scheduling of kettle staff and volunteers and respond to absences.
• Foster positive relationships with kettle sites and ensure supplies.
• Handle delivery and pickup of kettles, ensuring security of donations.
• Conduct shift reminders and assist with handling kettle contents.
