The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II for the Christmas Kettle Campaign. This short-term contract role oversees multiple kettle locations within a defined zone, coordinating kettles, volunteers, and donor engagement in malls and stores.

Responsibilities include training participation, kettle placement, donation security, issue escalation, volunteer recruitment, and regular communication with partners to ensure smooth operations during the campaign.

Qualifications

• High school completion is an asset.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Responsabilités

• Attend training and orientation for The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign.
• Support in getting kettles to zone locations prior to volunteer arrival.
• Ensure all kettle donations are delivered to secure location at shift end.
• Communicate daily issues and supply needs to the City/Assistant Coordinator.
• Supervise and assist kettle volunteers during the Campaign.
• Participate in recruitment of new volunteers.
• Visit locations during shift changes and periodically.
• Maintain daily communication with ATL partner for smooth transitions.
• Ensure timesheets and mileage reports are submitted timely.
• Remain at kettle for full shift and ensure donation security.
• Respond to donor questions about SA ministries and programs.
