Job summary

Big Country Equipment is seeking Fuel & Lube Operators to join their team in British Columbia. These professionals will service and maintain heavy equipment in a mining environment, working rotational 14/14 shifts.

The ideal candidates are safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in remote camp settings with fly-in/fly-out arrangements. The right candidates will have at least one year of experience, strong equipment knowledge, and the ability to complete detailed paperwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience operating a fuel and lube truck.
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, or Hitachi equipment.
• Technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to complete detailed paperwork.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, in all weather conditions.
• Ability to reside in remote camps on a rotational schedule.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Clean 5-year driver’s abstract.
• Pass an 8-panel drug test (including marijuana) and alcohol breath test.
• Pass a Criminal Record check.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. comfortably.
• Provide at least 2 direct supervisor references.
