Job summary

Big Country Equipment Repair LTD is seeking a Fuel & Lube Technician to service heavy mining and construction equipment in a remote camp environment in Western Canada. You will fuel, grease, and perform oil changes on large machinery, operate a dedicated fuel & lube truck, and maintain detailed maintenance records.

This role offers a 14x14 shift rotation with day or night schedules and potential transition to a Heavy Equipment Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere or Hitachi equipment is preferred.
• Ability to do detailed paperwork and maintain records.
• Willingness to work up to 12-hour shifts and reside in remote camps on a rotational schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fuel and grease all equipment daily.
• Operate the fuel and lube truck safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair company assets and maintain repair orders.
• Maintain fuel and lube truck and supply storage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and site regulations.
