Job summary

Newmont is seeking Miners at various levels to join their team at the remote Brucejack Mine in Kitimat-Stikine, British Columbia. This underground operation offers a fly-in, fly-out schedule with a camp-based environment and a 12-hour shift pattern.

Ideal candidates have a safety mindset, experience with heavy underground equipment, and the ability to pass pre-employment tests. Benefits include travel allowance, camp accommodations, and a comprehensive pension plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Experience operating heavy equipment underground.
• Experience with mining equipment such as Scoop, Drills, Cable Bolter, Water Truck, Grader, Haul Truck, etc.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test and medical assessment.
• Physically able to work 12-hour underground shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

This unique underground gold and silver operation offers a fly-in, fly-out schedule and a camp-based work environment.
