Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking qualified heavy equipment technicians to assemble, maintain, repair, prepare and rebuild some of the largest machines in the world. This full-time field position is based on a 5x2 shift at our Regina branch, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment in the field, perform component replacements and large-scale rebuilds, and work closely with customers, product teams and sales support while ensuring on-site safety

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification is required.
• Journeyperson Truck and Transport, Journeyperson Agriculture and Journeyperson Automotive Certifications will be considered based on experience.
• 3rd and 4th Apprentices will be considered based on experience.
• Dedication to safety is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills is required.
• Understanding of Caterpillar product line is an asset.
• Engine and/or component rebuilding experience is an asset.
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience is an asset.
• Gas engine and power generation experience is an asset.
• Experience with Lawson, SIS and warranty systems is an asset.]
