Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking multiple Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics to perform engine diagnostics, repairs and overhauls on Caterpillar engine platforms in Edmonton. You will contribute to troubleshooting and overhaul activities, bringing practical experience to diagnosis and repair tasks.

The role requires an Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification and engine expertise. The position is in-shop in Edmonton, on a Monday–Friday schedule, with future shifts switching to a 7x7

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience working on 3500 series engines.
• Previous Gas Engine and Power Generation experience would be considered an asset.
• Dedication to safety.
• Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems experience.
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
