Finning Canada is seeking Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics to diagnose, repair and overhaul Caterpillar engines. You will work in Edmonton with a Monday–Friday shop schedule that can switch to a 7x7 continuous shift, and you will join a unionized team with competitive benefits.
The role requires interprovincial heavy equipment certification, at least 2 years on 3500 engines, and strong electrical, hydraulic and emissions experience. Excellent safety record and teamwork are essential.

Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
This position is located in shop in Edmonton on a Monday-Friday shift but will switch to a 7x7 continuous shift. Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement.
You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
