Job summary

Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care is seeking a Full-Time Claims Coordinator for a hybrid in-office/remote role at our 500 Church Street location. You will support claims administration, coordination, and tracking from submission to closure, liaising with insurers, adjusters and legal counsel while maintaining accurate records and reporting for management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains register of actual and potential claims and ensures information is documented.
• Coordinates registration and submission of claims to insurer and supports lifecycle management.
• Coordinates collection of information and follows up on action items, escalating as needed.
• Liaises with insurers, adjusters, legal counsel and internal partners for updates.
• Prepares routine and ad hoc claims reports and status updates for management.
• Coordinates information requests and supports records organization for external stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains standardized workflows, templates and tracking tools.
• Maintains confidential and sensitive information with strict privacy controls.
• Monitors and reconciles claims data with insurers and legal counsel.
