Job summary

SCAN Health Insurance in the United States is seeking a Manager, Care Coordination to lead education and support teams that help members navigate the healthcare system and manage their health with compliant, efficient processes.

The role focuses on people management, workflow optimization, regulatory alignment (CMS/NCQA/DHS), and cross‑functional collaboration to meet department goals, with a mostly remote work setup and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare, medical management, change management, and/or leadership.
• Demonstrated management experience.
• Must possess working knowledge of NCQA standards, SNP requirements, CMS and DHS regulations.
• Ability to lead and influence those without direct reporting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manages teams through oversight of day-to-day operations and productivity.
• Manages workflow and assigns priorities and projects to ensure timely completion.
• Maintains staff by recruiting, orienting, and training employees; fostering growth.
• Ensures policies and procedures reflect regulatory requirements of Care Coordination.
• Facilitates meetings and trains staff to follow SCAN policies and procedures.
• Represents department on committees and supports escalated issues.
• Partners with stakeholders to review department metric reporting and dashboards.
