Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking Healthcare Service Advisors to join our Healthcare Services team to ensure timely resolution of Accident Benefits claims. You will act as a customer-focused professional, applying policy knowledge and internal guidelines to deliver fair outcomes.

In this hybrid role, you’ll interpret contracts, gather reports, educate insureds and providers, and collaborate with specialists to maintain service levels and drive accurate settlements while supporting career development

Qualifications

• College diploma/associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years Accident Benefits insurance claims handling experience.
• CIP licensing or working towards CIP required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret insurance contracts and resolve coverages per guidelines.
• Handle Accident Benefits claims within authority.
• Acquire investigative reports and statements as required.
• Educate customers and providers on auto reform changes.
• Ensure all claim process steps comply with guidelines.
• Assist in resolving claims issues related to legislation and settlements.
• Ensure service levels by approved specialists.
• Educate insureds about Premiere Healthcare network.
• Attend training and file clinic sessions.
