Job description

We are looking for a healthcare business analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office.

This position is in hybrid mode.

Functional expertise we are focused on right now:

1. Patient Appointment Booking
   - Involves configuration to define booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.
   - Front-end for booking appointments (cancel, rebook, book series appointments, group appointments)
   - Appreciation for data capture and reporting about appointments
2. Procedure and Medication Order flows
   - Focused on hospital environment, also involving clinic and outpatient orders
   - Knowledge of workflows and documentation of order fulfillment (normal and exceptional cases)

Additional requirements:

• Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (not Insurance)
• Prior experience as a business analyst, clinical informaticist, or system analyst
• Working knowledge of documenting business requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret regulatory documents and translate to business requirements
• Attention to detail balanced with business realities
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge and awareness of Canadian healthcare
• Bi-lingual English / French is a plus
