Job Title: Healthcare Business Analyst

We are seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office. This position is in hybrid mode.

Key Focus Areas:

1. Patient Appointment Booking:
   • Configuration of booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.
   • Front-end functionalities for booking appointments, including canceling, rebooking, series, and group appointments.
   • Data capture and reporting related to appointments.
2. Procedure and Medication Order Flows:
   • Primarily in hospital environments, also involving clinics and outpatient orders.
   • Understanding workflows and documenting order fulfillment processes, including normal and exceptional cases.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (excluding Insurance).
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Clinical Informaticist, or System Analyst.
• Proficiency in documenting business requirements using User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory documents and translate them into business requirements.
• Attention to detail balanced with business realities.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Canadian healthcare system.
• Bi-lingual in English and French is a plus.
