Job description

We are looking for a healthcare business analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office.

This position is in hybrid mode.

Functional expertise we are focused on right now:

1. Patient Appointment Booking

• Involves configuration to define booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.
• Front-end for booking appointments (cancel, rebook, book series appointments, group appointments).
• Understanding data capture and reporting about appointments.

Procedure and Medication Order flows

• Primarily in a hospital environment, also involving clinic and outpatient orders.
• Knowledge of workflows and documentation of order fulfillment (normal and exceptional cases).

Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (excluding Insurance).

Prior experience as a business analyst, clinical informaticist, or system analyst.

Working knowledge of documenting business requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to interpret regulatory documents and translate them into business requirements.

Attention to detail balanced with business realities.

Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Knowledge and awareness of Canadian healthcare.

Bi-lingual in English and French is a plus.
