Bethany Care Society is seeking a Health Care Aide (HCA-DB94-110) at Bethany Didsbury in Didsbury, Alberta. The role is part-time (0.65 FTE) with evening shifts (15:00–21:00) and a fixed-term assignment from 2026-09-14 to 2027-07-25.

You will provide resident-centered care, document observations, and support a safe, collaborative care environment. Qualifications include Grade 10, Alberta Health Care Aide certificate, CLHA registration, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate.
• Registered with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
• English proficiency needed for effective communication.
• Experience as Health Care Aide is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Document and report care observations to the nurse in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a safe environment by following safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to evaluate and adjust resident care needs.
