Job summary

Bethany Care Society in Didsbury, Alberta is seeking a Health Care Aide to deliver resident-centered care within Designated Supportive Living. The part-time position (0.65 FTE) runs days from 07:00 to 13:30, with a 21 x 6.0 hour shift cycle in a five-week frame. Position Start Date: 2026-10-02.

You will document care, protect resident privacy, and work with an interdisciplinary team to support well-being and independence, aligned with Bethany's mission.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide certificate approved by Government of Alberta.
• Registered with CLHA – College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in physically and mentally demanding environments.
• English reading, writing, speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care per care plans, maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Document observations and care in the health care record in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrate Bethany's mission and team values in daily care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate care needs.
