Job summary

Bethany Calgary is seeking a part-time Health Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities and to promote independence. You will document observations, maintain privacy and dignity, and participate in safety and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate.
• Registered with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document and report care observations to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain safety and adherence to health and safety policies.
• Support team, participate in care planning and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Demonstrate Bethany's mission and collaborate with residents and families.
