Job summary

Bethany Care Society’s Calgary site is hiring a part-time Health Care Aide in Calgary, Alberta. You will support residents with daily living, document care, and work with an interdisciplinary team in the Memory Lane – LTC unit.

The role requires Grade 10, a Government of Alberta approved HCA certificate and CLHA registration. Evening shifts, 0.42 FTE, non-union AUPE ANC, with a commitment to respectful, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education is required
• Health Care Aide certificate approved by Government of Alberta
• Registered with CLHA (LPNs/HCAs)
• English proficiency and good observation/communication skills

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident-centered care and assists with daily living activities.
• Documents care observations and reports to the nurse promptly.
• Maintains safety and adheres to health and safety policies.
• Demonstrates Bethany's mission and values.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to reassess resident care needs.
