Job summary

A leading home health care provider in Edmonton is seeking dedicated Caregivers to assist clients with daily activities and personal care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess a high school diploma or HCA certification, and clear communication skills in English. Responsibilities include assisting clients with mobility, preparation of meals, and providing companionship. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and vehicle for client transportation.

Qualifications

  • Must possess clear communication skills in English.
  • Must be able to drive Client to and from appointments, have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Previous experience as an at-home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Properly manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
  • Assist with client transportation to appointments.
