Your Mission

Ready to transform our health and safety practices?
Under the leadership of the Health and Safety Supervisor, the Health and Safety Advisor will play a central role in promoting and implementing best practices in occupational health and safety (OHS). Their expertise will help ensure a healthy and safe work environment for all team members at the plant. We are currently hiring for two full-time positions at our transformation plant in Bécancour.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Implement and monitor the health and safety program: develop, deploy, and maintain policies and procedures tailored to the plant’s operations.
  • Raise awareness and train: design and deliver OHS training for employees, managers, and subcontractors.
  • Prevent risks: conduct risk assessments, propose preventive measures, and collaborate on their implementation.
  • Monitor compliance: perform regular inspections, audits, and incident analyses to ensure adherence to current OHS standards.
  • Respond to incidents: actively participate in investigations of accidents or incidents, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate: work closely with various departments to integrate OHS principles into daily activities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance: stay informed about laws, regulations, and best practices in OHS and apply them at the plant.
Your Qualifications
  • Degree in health and safety, risk management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar role, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment (asset).
  • Excellent knowledge of OHS laws and regulations in Quebec.
  • Ability to analyze situations and propose practical and effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to train and engage teams.
  • Actively promote values of health and safety, ethics, diversity, and inclusion.
