Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Brantford-based manufacturing organization to recruit a hands-on Production Supervisor for the day shift. You will lead daily operations, drive safety, quality and productivity, and build trust with a seasoned workforce.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of supervisory experience, a hands-on leadership style, and a proven ability to set structure and priorities on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing/production.
• Strong people leadership and accountability skills.
• Hands-on leadership with visibility on the production floor.
• Understanding of safety, quality, productivity, and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and direction to day shift production employees.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, output and delivery objectives.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable while maintaining a respectful environment.
• Monitor workflow, staffing and priorities; adjust resources as needed.
• Coach, train and develop employees; support onboarding and integration of new team members.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements with leadership.
• Maintain production records and communicate shift performance and priorities.
