Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a hands-on Production Line Lead for our Montréal manufacturing partner. The role leads a small team on the day shift, drives production targets, and champions safety, SOPs, GMPs and food quality standards.

You will troubleshoot, coordinate maintenance and continuous improvements while training operators. Requires 2+ years leading production, strong mechanical aptitude, and hands-on leadership; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or similar industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of approximately 6 production operators.
• Coordinate daily activities to meet production targets and schedules.
• Provide hands-on support and ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, safety, and food quality standards.
• Monitor production and equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime and waste.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, sanitation, and pre-operational inspections.
• Identify, report, and help resolve production, quality, equipment, and staffing issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
• Drive continuous improvements in production efficiency, equipment reliability, and overall operations.
