Job summary

Fleming and Baron, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, seeks a Production Supervisor – Day Shift to lead the Door Department at our Woodbridge, Ontario facility. You will supervise daily production operations, plan work, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain a safe, efficient environment.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in manufacturing supervision, lean and process-improvement experience, and strong leadership, communication, and ERP skills. Salary ranges with strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a related field (eg, Manufacturing Engineering).
• 4–6 years of manufacturing supervision or management experience.
• Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience.
• Union-site experience preferred.
• Experience with production scheduling and work planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations during the day shift within the Door Department.
• Plan and assign daily work to meet production schedules and goals.
• Ensure orders are completed on time, accurately and efficiently.
• Coach, motivate, and evaluate employees; address performance as needed.
• Develop and report production metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Identify productivity trends and drive improvements with lean initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on current and future production needs.
