Job summary

The Cove Lakeside Resort in West Kelowna, British Columbia, seeks a Guest Service Agent to deliver outstanding guest experiences from reservation through checkout. Accuracy, attentiveness, and a friendly, professional approach are essential to meet high service standards in a luxury all-suite setting.

You will welcome guests, check in, share information about facilities, handle questions and requests, and work with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel & Power Point.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit.

Responsibilities

• Welcom guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
• Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on Resort facilities and room location.
• Respond to guests questions, complaints, and requests ensuring efficient and personalized guest service.
• Ensures safety and confidentiality of our owners, guests and employees.
• Create and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere at the front desk; have good working relationships with managers and associates in other departments.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
• Sell, process, and maintain all reservation records using Resort selling strategies.
• Ensure the work area is clean, neat, and well organized.
• Be a sales person by active promotion of property facilities and company/property specific promotions in order to contribute to overall profitability.

OVERVIEW
