Job summary

Prestige Mountain Resort in Rossland is seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent (Guest Services Agent). You will greet guests, answer calls, process reservations, and assist with arrivals and departures.

The role emphasizes courteous service, upselling opportunities, and maintaining a welcoming lobby; evening and weekend availability and Canadian work eligibility are required; prior front desk experience is an asset but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Front desk experience is an asset but not required.
• Willing to obtain Basic First Aid.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and professional guest services
• Utilizes instinctive upselling techniques and negotiates rates to maximize revenue and occupancy levels
• Maintains order and cleanliness at the front desk
• Handles guest accounts
• Assists guests on arrival, departure and during their stay
• Operates the telephone console
• Processes reservation and cancellation requests
• Performs other duties as directed by the General Manager
