The Event Services Worker plays a key role in supporting the Tarleton State University Event Center by delivering exceptional front-line customer service and ensuring smooth event operations. Core responsibilities include ushering at events, assisting with ticket sales and entry, monitoring building security, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position is essential to creating a positive and seamless experience for guests, students, and community members.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are critical to success in this role.
Evening and weekend availability is required, with work schedules determined by the needs of scheduled events. This is a temporary, part-time position limited to a maximum of 19 hours per week, based on the operational needs of the Event Center.
The target base hourly compensation is $18.03 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
