Job summary

TCU Place in Saskatoon is seeking Guest Services Attendants - Servers to join our event team. This casual role focuses on beverage ordering and delivery in VIP spaces, with shifts that typically occur evenings and weekends.

You will greet guests, take orders, and handle cash while supporting guest services during events. Prior service experience is an asset; Grade 12 is required. A CRC check may be required upon offer.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education required.
• Knowledge of cash-handling procedures.
• Previous service experience is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with guests and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provides directions, information and answers to event-related questions in a pleasant and courteous manner.
• Enters customer orders into the POS correctly and efficiently.
• Approaches and serves the customer within TCU Place Standards of Excellence.
• Enforces guest services policies, e.g., smoking in designated areas, no food or drink in the theatre.
• Enforces no-camera policy at the discretion of the promoter.
• Adheres to procedures regarding cash.
• Cleans work area and equipment after events.
• Picks up garbage during events.
• Performs minor custodial duties and restocking during events.
• Provides table and/or host service of wines, liqueurs, beers and spirits.
• Provides support to the Guest Services department duties as required by the event

TCU Place is looking for several ambitious and energetic team players to join the team as Guest Services Attendant - Servers. This group is responsible to provide excellent beverage ordering and delivery in all VIP spaces where table / in-suite service is offered. This is a casual position and staff are scheduled for events that typically take place evenings and weekends and the odd day. This is a perfect position if you are looking to supplement your income or if you simply like to be part of the entertainment business.

• Provides directions, information and answers to event-related questions in a pleasant and courteous manner.
• Enters customer orders into the POS correctly and efficiently

• Enforces guest services policies, e.g., smoking in designated areas, no food or drink in the theatre.

• Adheres to procedures regarding cash.
• Cleans work area and equipment after events.
• Picks up garbage (e.g., cups, wrappers, programs, etc.) during events.
• Performs minor custodial duties, including wiping sinks and mirrors and restocking supplies as necessary during events.
• Provides table and/or host service of wines, liqueurs, beers and spirits.
• Provides support to the Guest Services department duties as required by the event
